Hi
Why am I now having to put in my zip code when I list an item? It happened a few weeks ago then stopped. Now It happened again. All of my address on my account is fine.

Per eBay policy, having the zip code, city and state is required when listing so that the item location is clear and accurate.

In the listing template the zip code always has to be entered before sending the listing live. After it is put in it should come up on future listings as part of the auto prefill. You should not have to do this all the time. How are you listing is it a mobile device or web based on a computer. I would suggest trying a different device if mobile to see if the issue goes away or continues. If web based try a different browser or computer. If the problem does not continue try clearing your browser history. Weather using a mobile device or computer and browser if the issue continues post in the technical support forum with as much information and trouble shooting you have done. For mobile devices there is a separate forum for iPhone and android mobile devices the main technical forum is for web based.

Looks like a user posted about this a while back but there is nor real info about if it was looked into or fixed.

I know, It has been doing it automatically, a few weeks ago I had to enter the zip and it fixed itself, tonight it's making me enter the zip again.

I'm using my phone, it's all I ever use to list. Hopefully tomorrow it will go back to normal

Perhaps try uninstalling the app then reinstall it. I only use the app for updates and checking to see what may have sold. For listing web based is a lot better as the app has way to many preset setting that usually you do not want to have on a listing.
Others have been reporting problems with certain labels not being available when using the app to buy labels. IF it persists post in 1 of these 2 categories for mobile apps.

The address on your account is not the location of the item.
A seller's item does not have to be located in the same zip code where the seller is.
