I wanted to share my experience with eBay's dropshipping policies, particularly how they seem to unfairly impact global sellers. I'm from Pakistan, and after successfully making over $1,000 in sales within my first 30 days, eBay abruptly blocked my account, citing "community safety." Despite following all guidelines and paying hefty fees for promoted listings and transactions (up to $10 per sale), my account was shut down without a clear explanation.

What’s even more frustrating is that all my earnings are now on hold, and eBay's support team has been unresponsive to my emails. Throughout my time on the platform, I maintained a 100% positive feedback rating from buyers and provided complete and proper tracking for all shipments, even after my account was blocked. Additionally, the taxes and duties I paid for international payment transactions through my debit card were a waste of money, and now all my small savings are stuck.

This situation highlights a significant issue: eBay's policies do not seem to support or protect global sellers equally, and in my case, it feels like discrimination against Pakistani sellers. If anyone else has faced similar issues, I'd love to hear your stories and any advice on how to navigate this situation. It's disheartening to invest time and effort into a platform only to be sidelined without proper justification.

eBay forbids the listing, let alone the selling, of such items. It is also against the law in both Pakistan and the USA to sell counterfeits. See the following link for the legal consequences of trading in counterfeit goods in your country.

There is no way to know for sure what other sellers are doing behind the scenes. But regardless, if they are (or are not) practicing retail arbitrage and/or selling fakes, your choices to ignore the rules remain. It is no excuse to say “well, they broke the law too” as if that lessens one’s own culpability.

It is never a good idea to use what other sellers are doing as a guide to inform oneself without checking the written policies.

If they break the rules and get caught, they will face the same consequences. They are not getting special privileges at your expense. Much in life (including business) could be considered unfair and inconsistent, but it does not assuage one’s guilt or relieves someone of their own responsibilities.

Possibly you should consider retailing items you source yourself and actually shipping them out with your own time, labor, and expertise.

How can I restore my account? I have done a research and read almost every drop shipping policy from ebay. Further my next plan is to start through walmart plus drop shipping method as well as will only sell original authentic products from valid retailers. Can anyone guides me how can I request to reopen my ebay account or to just give me one more chance 😞

All previous sold items has been reached to clients and I asked them via personal messaging. But they wont be able to share feedback as all my listings has been removed from eBay

You cannot sell counterfeit items and at the same time tell the buyer that the product is not and original and is unbranded. 

Counterfeit means counterfeit.

I am relieved to hear that you have been blocked.  eBay is not the souk.

As others have posted your account is permanently suspended.  You will never be able to sell here again.  I'm sorry.  Selling counterfeits is not allowed and is punishable by law.  A family member of mine went to jail because they knowingly sold counterfeits & lawsuits can and do happen.   I certainly wouldn't want to see that happen to you.  It is important to know the laws, because if you neglect them and ignore them, this is the result.  As far as Walmart is concerned....if you think eBay is strict....I doubt you'll last there either and I don't believe Walmart has a drop shipping program.  If people do drop ship from Walmart, it is still a violation.  You cannot list on one site and drop ship from another retailer.

Im not sure how someone gets paid after they are banned.

You'll get the money, but don't know how long it'll take.

Could be 6 months or more.
