Are you all fans of people that make videos for YouTube in regards to what they buy and sell on eBay and how much they paid for it how much they sold it for and then thinking the person who purchased it and this that and another I think it’s kind of hokey but that’s just my opinion what do you think?

Good luck to them.

Some of them can be hokey i occasionally like to watch the one woman who takes trips through Goodwill and her local estate clear outs as i love learning things about items i might find on eBay
And there is guy too
for me current retail in my local mall(and i have a terrible mall since the corner stores moved out except one} is very boring
It can be interesting but i have to be in the mood and i am only drawn to watch certain YouTuber's videos
Interested read what other eBay members think out of curiosity

To be honest, there is several pickers and ebayers that I watch. Not everyday but I do subscribe to their channel and I find them very knowledgeable and delightful at the same time.
From what I understand some are making a decent living doing this. One I love to watch ( without full name) is crazy LL. She is a smart, funny and a natural on camera and has quite a following on ebay. I have learned a lot from what she knows about Hager pottery and Limoge.
Another one I watch Paper & M.....deals with old ephemeral items and is passionate about saving these items from the landfill.
I like interesting people who love what they do and I find nothing wrong in tuning in to view them once and a while. So that's my take on it!

There are several I watch. As a guy trying to establish my own non-eBay related YouTube channel, I watch the ones that have good content and make their videos in a manner that I aspire to. It's a 2 for 1 with the eBay content and watching their video production methods.

I have a few that I watch and enjoy how they film at garage sales, estate sales and such as it feels like you are along for the ride and can learn from them, as what to do and not to do.
I have no problem when someone makes good content and is then rewarded by making money for there efforts, such as add revenue on YouTube
But I can't stand watching videos where it is obvious the content creator is just hoping to get viewers to purchase items from them, just tacky in my personal opinion

I was going to make some videos mocking some of those Youtube videos. Basically when a person is making videos about their Ebay store they're trying to do two things, drive traffic and perhaps create a new business monetizing videos. It can also mean their sales $#&*. Thy probably have another channel where they react to things as well.

I watched 1 of the content creator's on YouTube who has an eBay Store and it was very obvious he based his content on trying to drive traffic to his Store and promote his stuff. What I found odd he was telling the viewers how much he paid for certain item's and how much he made from them then thanking the viewers who purchased them, all I could think was how tacky and to me rude that was. My opinion of course

Hi, i haven’t watched any. Not my cup of tea.

A lot of those advice videos and self praise videos make me cringe. I've got a bag with 25 lbs of alginate....ohhhhh I'm so tempted to do a Tony Montana what to sell on Ebay video tonight. My channel needs 4000 hours before I can monetize again. It might just happen after my birthday wine takes effect ha!

I've never watched any. Maybe I thought they sounded kind of hokey...

There's an old saying....
"Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach."

I watch one - the Auction Professor. The rest of them I've seen aren't worth my time. Don is the only one I've seen that mirrors what I sell. There are probably more, I've just not come across them.

I have watched some and then checked out their eBay items. Amazing how many people follow and buy.
I don't so much anymore.
Been busy watching the grass grow.
