You have 6 questions to answer. But where?!

But when I go to answer questions, I only see 2 old questions?

What's going on? Where can I find these questions?

There probably aren't any.

eBay is always showing me through seller hub that I have messages awaiting response regarding messages that already received a response.

Annoying, shouldn't happen, but it does and can be ignored.

If you want to double-check, go to your messages folder and check to see you don't have any awaiting response.

I will add, they seem to consider a message about an item a 'question" if you weren't the last to respond

For instance, I have a few where someone asked a question, then I responded, and they responded back "thanks". But since I wasn't the last to respond, they feel like these are still ongoing/ unanswered.

eBay removed the way to fix this.

I believe....

I was annoyed by it, and found that it was a result of the new messaging system.

I could clear it out by switching to the older version of messages and mark them, because the new system wasn't marking them correctly as read. Then I would just switch back to the new one.

However, guess you can't switch back and forth anymore.

I've never experienced the alert going away after marking messages as read. Interesting.

Unless perhaps you are referring to Seller Hub Overview > Tasks - read all unread messages from members. That's different from listings with questions awaiting response.

That said, you can bulk mark as read on the new format, Robbie. Just check the messages, then click the 3rd little icon at the top to mark as read.

I've always had to take the path through seller hub active listings to mark as answered.

Then under actions, where it says 'respond to questions', click the arrow and select 'mark as answered'.

Unfortunately it's one-by-one.

IDK if it it's different, but it was an issue with the new messaging system that I was able to clear by switching to the older version.

Now seems like since I can't switch back I'm stuck with them.

You're not stuck with them. Follow what I wrote in my last post:
