When I went to cancel the order, I was only given the option to cancel and relist. I had to do that in order to cancel, but I am not ready to relist it because its a relist that’s going to happen as a step in correcting a problem transaction. When I cancel an order, why do I have to automatically relist it? Where is the option to cancel without relisting automatically? Thank you.

On the cancellation page (or on a return case page) there is a box next to the photo of the item which is automatically ticked to relist. Unclick it and then proceed to the bottom of the page to cancel (or refund and close the case).
You should be good to go.

I did, right away, but wow. We have so little control over our stores any more, seems like. Oh well. Not letting myself get aggravated over ebay control freaky things any more... for the most part, ha.
