Xmas listing timing

When is the best time to list Xmas stuff? I have an older nativity set that I'm sure someone out there would be interested in.

We sell Christmas, year 'round.

By August 15th - All Halloween should be listed, by Oct. 15th All Christmas and New Years, and by Dec. 15th Valentine's day, etc...

As a buyer I figure that is what a seller might do - so, I buy it when I see it, the further out from Xmas the better.

I agree with others, Christmas related items do sell year round, and I often sell Christmas movies in the middle of the summer. The best time to list such items? Likely in the fall, as many people will start Christmas shopping soon.

There are also people who collect ornaments, so that's a good product to target for Holiday sales.

and so I would list your Christmas and other holiday items now.

Holiday stuff sells year-round. I sell ornaments constantly along with other holiday stuff. I may refresh a listing with a sell similar the month before the actual holiday but other than that, I set it and forget it. 

A lot of folks buy during the year and save their funds for presents

A lot of folks buy during the year so the other half does not see how much gets purchased (I may or may not resemble that remark) 

A lot of folks have saved searches for obscure and vintage stuff.
