When is the best time to list Xmas stuff? I have an older nativity set that I'm sure someone out there would be interested in.

Christmas stuff sells year-round if it's specific holiday themed items or people buying gifts.

AGREED.

I sell Christmas (and other holiday themed items) all year long.

I have a theory supported only by intuition - not fact.

Someone is cruising through (in the spring let's say) and they see some Christmas thing that catches their eye. Being afraid that they will be able to find it again as Christmas approaches they buy it then and put it away. Ditto all other holiday themed items.

And sometimes they have put it away when they purchased in June and now have either forgotten they bought it or have forgotten where they stowed it away so they buy another.

Quite often the main theme of estate sales.

I keep my Christmas stuff listed all year round. You'd be surprised at how many ornaments I've sold during the summer months.

I sold four kits to make embroidered/beaded Christmas-type ornaments in June.

Thanks for reminding me that I need to look in my spare room for a box of Christmas ornaments that I want to try to sell.

You can sell it year round, but you're gonna get top dollar if you wait until last minute ( I would say around December 10-15).

Respectfully disagree. At that time you will more likely get "It's almost Christmas and you haven't sold it yet. So I'll offer (substantial discount) otherwise you'll just be stuck with it for another year".

I just want it to sell SOMETIME before xmas, not really concerned about price, just that someone can enjoy the purchase.

I guess it really does not make a difference when since will be listing a BIN anyway...

I usually list mine right after Halloween, but after reading this thread, I'm going to go get the boxes out of the garage right now!
