Xerox Infringement

Ever few months Zerox complains my post is an infringement of their rights. First of all I use picture of a generic box- no infringement. possible. When I contact Xerox they state item was stolen. I email receipt and they drop case. I contacted eBay and eBay stated Xerox has no rights to state items may be stolen. Yet, eBay still allows Zerox to pull this **bleep**.

You are using a stock photo lifted from Dreamstime - hopefully you paid for the licensing although the watermarks suggest that you did not - and claiming that it is a Xerox ( not Zerox) part. 

If it is a real Xerox part then at minimum you should post clear photos of the exact item that the buyer will receive. Right now it looks like you are selling counterfeit or aftermarket toner with a copied stock image of a box. That is why Xerox is concerned.

Multiple violations of the same policy can quickly get a seller banned from eBay for life with no appeal.

Even if you feel no infraction has been committed, I strongly urge you not to continue to flout the vero takedowns. When an infringement complaint is registered, eBay must remove the offending listing by law. It can only be reinstated by written consent from the allegedly injured company, in this case Xerox.

The call you made to customer service was an out-sourced call center. They gave you incorrect advice!

I think you have likely gotten very lucky so far.  When I look at a current listing you have for a toner meter.  You say Xerox in your title, yet Xerox is not the brand name on the item.  That is called Keyword spamming and is an offense that Ebay would close and delete your listing for.  

In your listing in the ISBs you say Compatible brand for Xerox.  In your description it says it is an Xerox toner black meter.  So you have some contradictions in your listing as well.  It is either a Xerox product or it isn't.  It can fit a Xerox without being a Xerox brand.

You also have a website stated in your pics, that is another policy violation.

You should fix any listing you have that is using a Brand name in the title when the part being sold is NOT made by that Brand name.  Try to head off a problem that is certainly headed your direction since you are already on Ebay's radar for issues with Xerox.
