Ebay have mixed up the buyer and the runner up .

So the winner has paid . But the address Ebay sent was the runner up..

This took hours to find out.

My last 7 mails to customer service have vanished into some sort of cyber purgatorry along with there telephone number and live chat. Their search engine might be the same place.

In the end i used i have been hacked . Is this the only function on Ebay that works now ?

Any ideas . I think it is embarrassing accussing folk for not returning a package( Or even Emailing and asking if i sent them a package a few weeks ago ) I have sent the package to the correct address according to Ebay on Time.

Is this a this a first or should i also be worried along with tired and p##sed off.

How did you figure this out? Did eBay tell you? Did the buyer tell you? Did they send you the wrong winner completely (ID and everything) or the right winner with somehow the wrong address?

Do you mean the address you received with the paypal payment was wrong?

I hope you weren't told a different address by a fake buyer.

Yeah, I'm confused!

Was the address on the payment? Was the payment from the high bidder? or did you get a message from someone asking you to send to a different address. The 2nd place person could have messaged you thinking they could trick you into sending it to them instead of the winner.
