Would you buy from a seller with 96.9% feedback?

When you have one negative and a bunch of buyers who don't bother to leave feedback, it can happen.  I'm not in danger of dropping to below standard, but buyers see my feedback and it's dropping monthly.  Any advice?  Is anyone still selling with a lower number?

Re: Would you buy from a seller with 96.9% feedback?

It would depend on how desperate i am to buy that hard to find item from you and/or the price is a real bargain compared to buying with someone with better FB.  I know I'm protected with ebay's MBG so if you're the ONLY seller ON THE WEB who's selling that item I need at the best(meaning incredibly low) price OR only price  OR 2) the price is sooooo low like the items from China, then yeah, I'll take a chance with you.  I've bought from sellers from the other site at 88% because of their excellent buyer protection.

However, if what you have is something I NEED RIGHT AWAY or as a GIFT and costs a good amount, then no, I wouldn't buy from you.  I've learned that some ebay sellers can be slow shippers, bad packagers, won't describe in detail, etc. even with 100% FB!!!
