Would you kindly do a search for this item and post the results for me?

Left Center Right Dice Game

I have sold these for years.  My current listing has sold over 800 of these.  I was selling quite a few of these every week now zip.  

My repeated search results have shown 0 matching items.  Others sell the exact item.  They only show if you look through the listings of similar items eBay returns in search.

The exact title of my listing is Left Center Right Dice Game with velvet drawstring storage bag at big discounts.

How bizarre is that?  Search won't pull up the results using the title words in exact order but will if two of the words switch places?

Left Center Right changed to Left Right Center.

It is bizarre to me, too.  I guess yours is an example of why we see so many sellers stating search is broken.  I think you should tag a Blue, with the item number, for an explanation.

brian@ebay another thread showing how badly search is currently performing.  It's happening more often than not when I search that items that match the search terms EXACTLY show many items down in "items with fewer matches".     

Poor seach results = Poor sales results.

OP,

95% of the time when a seller says search is broken, there is an explanation for why it is happening. 

However, I can't find any explanation for this.

Advanced search "words in any order" has not been functioning for a very long time.  Got to change the word order manually.

I just did a search using the following phrase "Left Center Right Dice Game" and got approx. 40 results of varying prices.

Just as distressing as the site wide search result returning 0 is that my own Seller Hub Active Listings won't return it as a search result.

In my SH Active Listings I could simply search for the word "left" and it would show every listing of mine with the word left in the title.  Now nothing, 0 results.

I had to scroll alphabetically through my active listing to find it and make sure it was indeed active and not ghosted by eBay.

Seriously, has anyone else experimented with search to see if and where your own listings show?

Alright, did somebody put a hex on this game or what   😁  The manufacturer's packaging shows the name of the game as Left Center Right.  

Still does not come up in my SH Active Listings using Left Center Right.  It used to come up using just the word left.  As would any other listing I had with the word left in the title.

It did just show up in my SH / AL results using only the word center or dice or game.  But not the word left - which is the first word in the title.

I experimented in my SH / AL to see if other items would show in results using only one word in search.  Rowley for Cynthia Rowley kitchen towels, containers for different ones I have listed, Mickey for Mickey Mouse towels, etc.  These searches all worked.  One word brought up all listings with that particular word in the title from my 585 active listings.

Hopefully Trinton will be able to shed some light on why site wide search results no longer show the title in matching results.

I did a search and it said "0" listings, but yours is at the top(first) on the list. You might want to remove, "at big discounts."

I typed--Left Center Right Dice Game
It shows 0 results but that is not true...
Under "Results matching fewer words" there is a page of them and yours is in the middle.

When I type --Left Center Right Dice Game with velvet drawstring storage bag at big discounts,
it shows 0 results,
No exact matches found,
yet under that
"Results matching fewer words" is the exact match but it is not fewer words, it is the exact match.

The ebay search is inconsistent, shows wrong results, shows 0 results when there are many results, and shows "No exact matches found" when the exact match is under that.
Conclusion, the ebay search is wacky!

Nothing if searching as you did, but under 'results matching fewer words', but it comes up if you switch it.
