Why is the only "condition" option "new"?

I started a draft today and can't see anyway to choose other than "new". What happened to other options? What I need for this particular item is "open box" or similar. I even tried switching between various listing formats but none of them provide options. What am I missing? Or did something change?

Why is the only "condition" option "new"?

I have found that different categories offer different options.  Some are only new/used and others have open box, etc.

A small pack of gel capsules for cats. Another thing I'm not finding anymore is how to calculate various options to determine my shipping costs (free shipping to buyers). Used to be able to plug in different zip codes. I don't see that anymore.

The only option I see is "new". I even tried doing a search for "open box", etc. but nothing comes up.

The category can only contain "New" Items.....so the other condition options are not available.....

The OP found a work around to list the prohibited item SMH.

Probably was not smart to do a work around. If it gets reported, eBay could freeze your account.

I think cosmetics/make up was one of those categories that only lets you select "new" because you're not supposed to sell used cosmetics.
