Why is it so hard to get in touch with ebay customer service. There was a time you could have called or emailed ebay. Now it's hard even to find any information to contact ebay, unless you have studied at Harward. It's so anoying, that ebay has become a greedy platform who isn't able to provide a proper customer service. I understand, that it cost a lot of money (in other words: They can save a lot of money), but a good customer service is key for keeping the members happy. Why I am complaining? I received a negative feedback, needed a while to figure out how to contact ebay to have the negative rating removed, but ebay never took care of it or replied to me. I just need to understand, why a company that makes billions suck in customer service. I'm at a point now do give up ebay at all ....

The FB about the truck? Even if eBay were to agree that it should be removed, it's now pretty far past the removal deadline. Getting FB removed isn't as easy as we would like. Sorry.

I wouldn't worry about 1 negative. Check out this feedback and this one is still selling.

Definitely agree; and, it doesn't matter if you get in touch with Ebay CS Philippines, they're lazy and not trained properly Believe me, that's the nice way of putting it.
I heard/read that getting in touch with Ebay through Facebook is the best way to get a fair and competent Ebay CS agent.

A feedback "revision request" should be linked right there at the feedback (for a while).
Just to be noted. There is nothing in that feedback that is still on your account that would justify removal by eBay.
Customer service (outsourced that reads from a script) is easily contacted by using "call back" that is located by using the "help & contact" located on nearly every eBay page.

To add:
Contacting better trained, and with some authority to actually do something CSR's is a bit harder, but not all that difficult (as proven, because I did it) can be done by messaging "eBay for business" on Facebook. Can be done on Twitter as well.
Again, in this instance, there would have been no action to remove that Blazer transmission feedback.
Negatives always sting, but a buyer grousing about the failure of the transmission ............................................... do they expect a warranty on a 34 year old vehicle? Makes the buyer look a bit foolish.

Thanks for all comments. I have 2 accounts on ebay and have never had a negative feedback. In this case, the buyer did not send me any evidence to support his claim. In the end I was blackmailed with the result of a negative review. Ebay does nothing to help. This is my big disappointment. Anyway I will write a comment on the negative feedback and I hope my statement will be believed. Thanks again for your help.

If I were CEO of ebay I think that's the FIRST thing I would do ... improve customer service/support.

eBay shut down their customer service call center during covid. Then, they just never really reopened it.
Seems to me that covid was a great excuse to make a cost saving at the expense of its users. Other businesses set up remote workers, but apparently not eBay.
The lack of good customer service could be damaging to eBay in the long run. But as a company, it seems to be myopic in its practices, primarily emphasizing short term gains with fewer considerations to its long term interests.
PS—the audience that matters when it comes to responding to feedback is one’s potential buyers—not the buyer who left the neg, not as a warning for other sellers, or as an opportunity to vent. Future buyers pay close attention to how a seller responds to problems that arise. It is the ideal time to show one’s great customer service skills.
