Why is my feedback 99.6% when I don't have any negatives?

My feedback is 99.6% but I haven't had any negatives in the past 12 months. I had one earlier but it has dropped off. Shouldn't my feedback be 100%?

Why is my feedback 99.6% when I don't have any negatives?

The metrics are evaluated on the 20th of each month. The negative may come off with the April assessment.

Good luck!

Feedback is based on the number that you continue to receive. If you look at you feedback profile next to the percentage you will see a blue circle with a "i" in it, click on that and it will give you an explanation/calculation.

I clicked on yours and here is what it states:

  • The positive Feedback percentage is calculated based on the total number of positive and negative Feedback ratings for transactions that ended in the last 12 months, excluding repeat Feedback from the same member for purchases done within the same calendar week (eBay time).
  • Note: This could mean that the number of ratings used for this calculation is different from the same number shown in the recent ratings table on the left.
  • Positives / (Positives + Negatives)
  • This member's 12 month Feedback ratings
  • Positives: 236 Negatives: 1
  • This member's positive Feedback percentage
  • 236 / ( 236 + 1 ) = 99.6%
After looking at this, you should have 100% because your profile doesn't show a negative feedback within the last 12 months. You will have to contact eBay and explain this to them. You will have to email them.

If your negative feedback just fell off, then may be you give it a little more time as everything on eBay has been delayed due to COVID-19.

Your one and only negative is indeed listed as "More than a year ago," but just barely. (It's the first one in that range.) I think it will drop off completely from the calculation any moment now. Keep your eye on it. If it hasn't cleared out in a reasonable amount of time (say, a week, maybe), you could try contacting customer service to ask about how often that percentage is updated.

I would just say that customer service is probably pretty overwhelmed right about now, so patience is probably the key.

Good luck!
