Why is eBay still listing items from Russia? Or for that matter, processing sales to Russia? With the rest of the world trying to prevent WWIII, via economic sanctions, eBay is only concerned with their bottom line. They will have Ukranian blood on their hands,if they do nothing. I will buy nothing from ANY vendor on eBay, until they take appropriate action.

Outrage with no grounds, nor research it would seem......
While eBay seems to have left Russian sellers listings up I clicked on a few and found they all appear to be on ‘time away’ until Dec. 31, 2030. The shipping details are also showing: every country as being blocked.
In addition most payment providers have banned services to the RF, so even if a seller in RF does somehow make a sale, they won’t be getting paid – this will apply to all online platforms not just eBay.

What items? Be specific.

That's nice. You'll save money that way.

OP doesn`t buy much on ebay (two items in the past year), he just had to bring it here after watching CNN. On the Selling board.
Why??

My hunch is that the total revenue generated by Russian sellers for eBay in the last 30 days, might be enough to take a date out to Applebees for a romantic dinner.

I don't see them making much profit when Russian seller's have no way to get paid?

Ignoring the payment question for a moment: I cannot imagine shipping anything from Russia or Ukraine to the US, or vice-versa, and actually having it arrive. Does anyone seriously think planes or shipments are still routinely traveling between those places?

Maybe OP has other IDs?

Maybe just a little dramatic?

Any. Unless you can think of exceptions for humanitarian reasons.

Thanks for the answer. I had not noticed, I used to buy from several Russian vendors, and checked my bookmarks, they were still there. And as another astutely noticed, since I closed my store due to eBay wanting signing authority on my bank account, I have been spending little time on eBay. I could have checked more thoroughly, but after you stop the daily eBay routine for awhile, you don't immediately think to check the "away until", minutia, as it would seem sensible to just remove ads, from Russian sellers. As far as payment, there are always ways to do that.
To be fair, I did look for an announcement from eBay, outlineing their position, and didn't find any. Any way, thanks again for the info, glad to see there are still some here.

Things are arriving in Ukraine. And hopefully will keep arriving. Some things via other countries. FedEx, and UPS have stopped shipping, but last I checked DHL provided delivery, but only to the cities of Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Mariupol, Lviv and Simferopol.
