Why is eBay changing my item prices and allowing offer?

Why is eBay changing my item prices and allowing offer? I didn't give them permission. I called them. Was told problem was fixed. Still happening.

I don't think ebay fixed anything because ebay announced that forcing a best offer option to listings was a ongoing test. I remember one of the ebay staff posting that on the message boards.

Some people have reported that changing the setting from the "quick selling tool" to "advanced" selling allows you to edit, change, or remove the "best offer" option. It seems to work for some people.

And what happens when eBay changes my listing to Make and Offer and I don't accept the offer eBay has listed? Am I screwed?
