When I see listings I posted with free shipping they have little calculators next to them to figure out shipping. They ought to say free shipping and it should also say Free Shipping under the "Buy it now" and instead it says "Calculate" why is the site so wrong and glaring error. It has to be costing sales if buy think shipping charge is implied at first glance. Dont even get me started about EBAY ACTIVE I am talking about just the regular seller view. In EBAY ACTIVE it says "plus shipping" for all the free shipping listings! Oh brother!!! Why do buyer need to calculate free shipping ebay? Duh!!!!

That isn't the norm. The only time that I've seen that is if I'm not signed in or if my location is not specified. I can't tell if that is the situation with you since there are no listings on the id you posted with.

It really is hard to help if we cannot see a listing that you are having this problem with.

But, I will make an attempt picking out some of your wording in your post.

Are you trying to add a buy it now with free shipping to an auction that would have calculated shipping if the buyer bids?

There isn't a way to do that.

Are you failing to change the shipping when you use a sell similar option?

Are you simply not doing a preview before you hit list?

Could be you put in dimensions that are too large for the shipping service you are offering. It shows as calculated on the listing but does not give a price. Happened to me when I made that mistake the other day. When I went in and changed it, the proper shipping appeared. Just a guess. Check your listing using the long form revise. The listing should have a shipping price whether you chose flat or calculated.
