For the third time, I have had to buy labels at the USPS because eBay will not allow me to pick either a medium flat rate box or a flat rate large box. Almost everything I ship goes in a Priority Mail box. I have every possible box imaginable. With the classic shipping I had no problem picking the box I needed.
Now eBay does not give you that option anymore. I don't know if those if you who use eBay or your own supplies have this issue, but for those of us who use Priority Mail shipping supplies, eBay's "USPS Priority Mail Package" option simply will not do. When I tried to ship using a medium or large flat rate box, I was given no option. What eBay should know is that the USPS has made it clear if you ship in a flat rate box, you will be charged the flat box rate regardless of weight.
All I ask eBay is to allow all possible Priority Mail boxes to show when we tried to print a shipping label. In the past, all I did was switch to the classic label, but with that gone, I am left with the limited options given by eBay. Tonight, I had to purchase a label again from the USPS because once again, I was not given the option to buy a large flat rate box label.
Why does eBay try to fix thing on its site that are not broken with far worse solutions? Who at eBay thought this new label service, limiting sellers options was a good idea?

have you ever clicked on the carrier packaging button just below the date? sometimes you have to "see more", but that's where I find the priority stuff they aren't showing by default.

Yes I have found that helpful too. While this new system is a bit tricky for me to get use to, I actually rather like it. I've also found that if I make sure the weight and size of the package is correct, I can get all my options available.

Ah. Thank you. I pretty much clicked everything on that page but that button.

This new system takes some getting used to. It takes longer and it's more work. I still think the classic shipping was fine. I was easier anyway. eBay needs to stop fixing what's not broke.

I have found it about the same in processing time for me. But it does take a little getting use to, that is for sure. And it takes a little time to learn how to make it work best for you. I hate learning curves too. it can be very frustrating.
