Listed an item last night, zero views. Not even showing up in a search.
Listed another item a few hours ago, no views.
What gives?

Listings take up to 24 hours to index. Relax...

It takes 24-48 hours to indexing. After that your listing will be published and you can see in search results. Thanks

. . . or it's not popping up because the Pay-to-click promotion strategy . . . Personally, I've never noticed "indexing" as an issue. My items always got views immediately. This just went away last month with new promotions . .

There are dozens of reasons why a listing might not be found using a given set of search terms.
But we cannot possibly give you a meaningful answer without knowing the item number and the search terms you are using to try to find it.

So they want to take even more money than the 12%+listing fee plus whatever else they feel the need to take?
I was a powerseller here over 15 years ago and this isn't the eBay I know.
Unfortunate.

it's been over 24 hours.

The search terms I'm using is the item title. When I click on my item under my account and click See Sellers other items, there's nothing.

I see no items for you.........where are you located? do you ship to the US? Give an item #.........if you want any real answers...........

I am kina feeling your pain. I am about to decide that I am choosing wrong items to try to sell. That has to be. People aren't buying or looking for the stuff we used to sell. Antiques have changed. Only the rarest of the rare sells very good on here anymore. It also may have something to do with everyone is a seller and there are no buyers out there that aren't selling.....? All sellers and no buyers. I know that when I first started, you could put any kind of McCoy or Roseville on Ebay and it would go really good....now when you put a piece of Roseville on Ebay, there are 50 on there, identical to mine, and that makes the price go lower. It is called economics I guess. LOL... I don't know. If I want some extra money on the side, I don't think Ebay is my answer. Got to get my resumes going again.....Good luck.

Nope, don't show........... you're a new seller.........correct? have you completed the Managed payment signup? Are the items anything to do with firearms or war or are they very expensive items? I know they hold those up more than most others. Have you been editing them? That holds listings up also.

Did not find either...............when were they listed? Friday night?

That’s not true. I’ve been selling for a few years now and I always got views immediately. There’s something going on with eBay how they do views. There are no more bot views. Which means they have a computer look at your items which technically isn’t a True View.
