I am very dissatisfied with the support system of ebay. The other day I wrote a situation where new listings can not be made although I have not reached the limit number in this community, but no response. I also sent an e-mail to the support desk which is shown in the community, but there was only a reply saying "Please call me." However, the international call waiting time is displayed as 30 minutes and I do not feel like calling up very much.
Other import / export related contractors such as amazon.com and myus.com have chat support, I can receive international support without making an international call . In fact, Though I am not good at hearing English , the problem was easily solved many times. On the other hand, eBay's support system is limited only by a phone .
Especially, I think that troubles related to complicated mechanism like File Exchange are more suitable for chat support than telephone.
For many non-US resident users I would like ebay to support by chat.

They don't want anything in writing that can be saved and referred back to.

Your original question was posted in a different part of the Community which gets very little traffic due to the very poor and conflicting layout of the site: https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/issue-about-listings-limit-with-file-exchange/qaq-p/27664255
It's also somewhat hard to understand, so if you'd care to try again, maybe somebody can help here.

What part of the other OP do you not understand?
@orangesky-of-tokyo each listing counts toward your monthly listing limit, whether you end the listing early or it runs til completion.

Thank you for pointing out. That point may be the cause of my problem.
I suffered because the update did not go well with File Exchange, so I deleted all items I registered once.
The desire to have more chat support system, regardless of this problem, will not change.

Have you tried sending an eBay message to mykal@ebay for File Exchange issues?
@shipscript might also be available to assist you.

thank you for the advice. I contacted another ebay e-mail address several times and got a reply the other day. I am interacting with the person at the moment.

In the era of the 21st century, it is possible to record the conversation contents of the phone easily. I can not tell if it is true, but if ebay is narrowing its support measures for that reason I think it is a terribly unfortunate reason.

I suspect it is because the past decade has made it crystal clear that a lack of adequate customer support has not stopped sellers from using the site.

They don't have wouldn't waste the money to hire the volume of people they would need to handle it. You'd be waiting for days for an answer. It would be harder than it is now.

Thank you for pointing out. I did not care about which part of the community to post. From now on I will also note the points you pointed out

Perhaps my posting alone will not change the support system. However, I think that there is an appropriate way to support depending on the trouble contents and circumstances.
Whether ebay narrowed down to the current approach after considering various methods carefully, or simply hating the new approach, that is a big difference.
If it is the latter condition, I hope that this will be an opportunity for ebay to think.

I think that it is one of realistic analyzes. eBay's share price seems to be 2.5 times in 10 years.
However, there are also many new entrants in the Internet business world.
Does ebay believe that the past ten years and the ten years ahead are similar?
Of course we do not know the answer, but for eBay it is a serious question to think about.
