Why does everything have to be sooo difficult?

I sold an item on 4/30. The buyer messaged me saying it was her first buy from eBay. Then another message when she received item saying how she loved the item. No feedback left tho.

I offer a 30 day return policy

On 6/22 buyer files chargeback case thru their credit card company/bank or whatever for unauthorized transaction. Buyer has now went from confirmed to unverified to unregistered on PayPal transaction details. PayPal said they would contact me if they needed anything which they didn't, nor would it allow me to enter in any info at resolution center. Then I'm told I lost the case. Huh?

Now my question is this..how do I get my purchase history as well as shipping history (for the tracking number) when eBay won't let me go back but 90 days.? Same with PayPal.  Why wouldn't PayPal have given the buyers bank the tracking info? I need these things for my so called Seller Protection. Any ideas how I get the tracking number?

Thanks.

Re: Why does everything have to be sooo difficult?

IIRC, proof of shipment for an UA claim has to be online viewable from the carrier.  When they extended the policy to 180 days lots of sellers had questions to paypal about what would be a sellers recourse / defense for UA & INR cases in the "gap". Never got a single response from paypal that I've ever seen.
