I noticed on a coin listing today for the first time that the seller did not show their feedback by their eBay ID on the right side and showed authenticity verified in red under the bid box. Seller feedback was nowhere to be found only if you knew you had to hover your cursor over their name or eBay ID. Prior to this, I understood the CDN logo for coin dealers provided authenticity verified if you were a member of that organization to the tune of several hundred dollars a months subscription fee. You were required to send your coin to CDN and they would process the transaction through sending out the coin once sold. I contacted eBay CS and got a very vague and confusing answer on these two questions. Again, it seems just another elite program eBay has created for a special chosen few. Why? Many sellers, such as myself, have a proven selling record of solid 5 stars and have been with eBay since they started. In my opinion, treating sellers unequal by eBay does no good except put the ones with not deep enough pockets or just don't know whom to rub elbows with at eBay at a huge disadvantage. Most of us sellers work very hard to maintain a great presence on eBay. Equal playing fields for all should be the norm. That's the right thing to do. I would list the seller and item I am referring to but that would be against the community process. Just my opinion.
