Why does eBay allow counterfeit rings from our military academies to be sold?

Run a search for  US Naval Academy ring and sellers in India and elsewhere will pop up. Academy rings are almost always gold, not plated, the ones being sold are fake! The rings are earned by some of our best who study for four years and then willing to put it all on the line. Despite my submitting multiple complaints eBay finds no issue with this. 

These are not listed as replicas but rather the insinuation is that they are genuine. If sold as copies I would have less of a problem.

There is no possibility that these rings are authorized for manufacture by either the Academy, the Class or Jostens (the usual maker) .

Why is this allowed?

Anyone who buys a US Naval Academy ring from India gets exactly what they deserve.

Maybe the US Navel Academy is unaware of these fakes,  maybe you should inform then so they can have eBay take them down?

They may be a little busy, though I have contacted them.  My question is why eBay is allowing this.

If you are an expert in idenitfying these fake rings, submit your credentials to Ebay. Otherwise one report on just your say so is not enough for Ebay to close these listings.
