Heavens, man! Do you think I never had an item damaged in transit or never had a bogus return? And when we had bricks-and-mortars, we had such losses, along with losses from shoplifting and customer damage to merchandise on the floor. (Never had any employee theft, but that's a common loss for many.)
Losses are part of doing business, and they're calculated into pricing. This is all just ordinary stuff. Business 101. Or maybe Business 01.
