This is kind of funny considering the topic of the "It's not just Christmas buyers ...." thread. -I sold 2 items today (Wednesday). Since I have 1-day handling for TRS+ benefits, the prompt should say "Ship by Thursday Jan. 4". But instead they both said Monday the 8th!
I had this happen a while back and it turned out that the new template I had set up had 2-day handling, and the bummer was I didn't catch it until I realized I missed out on my TRS fee discount for several items. But I definitely fixed the template and I can see in my Payments that I did get the discount for these 2 items' fees.
Neither Thursday nor Friday are postal holidays. So why the heck did eBay give me TWO extra business days?

Are you talking about the ship by in your awaiting shipments page, or each individual order details page of your Wednesday sales?
Hm, all of my Wednesday sales show ship by Jan 4 in my awaiting shipments page, I’m too lazy to check my individual order details but I checked one of them and it also says Jan 4.
However, I’ve noticed from time to time the date in the awaiting shipments page gets wacky sometimes. I’ve seen wrong ship by dates that later get corrected as the day progresses. I’ve also seen in the Manage Returns page the “issue refund by” date incorrectly changes sometimes too then change back to the correct date after a few minutes. I never mentioned this issue before because it’s kind of negligible for me.

It was on both the Sold listings page and the items' individual Order pages. I would get screenshots but I already bought the labels, as I don't intend to take advantage of the extension. These are both going to FF's, a Chinese buyer and a Russian one (well, someone with an account in Kazakhstan) so they'll have to wait long enough as it is, and I especially want my Russians and Ukranians back as soon as possible. Best buyers ever. This one just bought at listing price without making an offer, like they always do!

If you want, I’ll look at the listing those buyers bought from you and check if the ETA shown to me measures up. You can PM me the listings if you want. Otherwise we can chalk it up to just one of those things.

Hmmm, sure if you want, they would be my 2 most recent Sold's (you know how to find those, right?).
But remember the ETA takes into account where you live. That top one for $234.95 is going to New Castle Delaware, and the bottom one is going to Sarasota Florida.

They seem to be fine on my end. When using my zip code in California they show ETA Jan 8-11. And when I change my zip code to one in Mobile, I get ETA Jan 6-9. Which is about right under ebays formula for 1 day handling. Weird.

Thanks I appreciate it. Must just be an isolated glitch.

Look at this new one for an item I just sold about an hour ago. EIGHT days to ship?!!

It's always business days. Monday, January 15 is Martin Luther King Jr Day here in the US, so you have the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and then the 16th to ship. Sounds like you have 5 day handling time set up?

Ooookay, no, no , no. Something is WRONG-wrong. I don't know why neither of us thought of this before, but take a look at the ETA for any of my current (live) listings. -Here's what I see from my buyer account, which obviously has the same zip code as my seller account. But of course I checked and my stated handling time for that item is still 1-day.
And no, I don't have any recent history of exceeding my handling time, maybe a couple in the past few months and only by 1 day. So the ETA software shouldn't be inflated for any reason. This is no bueno, probably costing me some sales.
@wastingtime101 @valueaddedresource have either of yall ever seen anything like this before?

No, from my end it was set to be 1-day. See, I even got my TRS+ discount.

Check the following please @gurlcat .
1. Your screenshot appears to be My eBay. What ship by date do you see on seller hub - this page?
2. Go to this page and take a screenshot please:
https://www.ebay.com/ship/cutoff
3. Do you have the eBay app? If so, what ship by date appears on the app?
Once I see what's on those pages I will be able to tell if this is a settings issue or a tech glitch that should be reported to CS.

ten or more characterssssss

That cutoff time page is only for same day shipping (0 day handling) issues and shouldn't affect you if you never offer same day handling, right? I think @wastingtime101 just wants to take a look at it to do his batman detective work and cover all the bases first before claiming glitch.

You may be right but to me it looks dual-purpose. The HOURS for same-day shipping, but the DAYS for whether you "work" (performing shipping) at all. If I'm right, that thing says I ship on Sundays only.
