Why canst i open a case on an nonpaying buyer?

Hello everyone, i have run into an issue with an unpaying buyer and am looking into opening a case however i am unable to as the bot that assist you with opening the case says that i may open a case on the 7th of next month. the problem is by then it would be too late to open a case or at the very least i will have to pay the final value fee, what options do i have for this?

You can turn off the Unpaid Item Assistant and then open your case manually.

The Unpaid Item assistant can be set up to open a nonpayment case any time from 2+ days up to 32 days after the transaction. Yours is set up for about 30 days. This might be so it won't conflict with a 30-day site preferences choice for the interval when you allow buyers to combine purchases, so yo might need to revise that, too.
