Why can't I set MY own shipping price on MY own listings?

Ebay locks in a $4 price on my items because of something called a "shipping policy."

I don't want nor do I need a "shipping policy". However, once it's born it's like a concrete demon from hell to get rid of.

Now I'm supposed to send a 20 pound box for $4 shipping?

IT will not allow editing

IT will not allow changing the shipping price for a particular listing.

IT will not allow deleting

How about giving the seller some control over his own listings?

This is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo frustrating

I just want to list an item and put an asking price and  shipping price. That's ALL I want! Is that too much to ask? Instead of spending half an hour vainly trying to adjust the shipping price for ONE ITEM!!!!!

Has ebay hidden the phone numbers for help, or is that dead, too?

"I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you."

This phrase is  arrogant, condescending, demeaning  and insulting.  Using Mayor Koch in this manner as authority is misleading and offensive.

You define "woke" as defined by Google? The King of WokeWorld? That's circular "reasoning".

I see you used the AI to get your definition, and you selectively CENSORED the remainder of the AI answer.

Whereas I used my own words and my own life experiences.

In contrast , you do not refer to anything specific, you rely on generalizations, as all racists, sexists and other bigots do.

I could explain that to you, but you lack the ability to understand what other people say.

BTW, anyone who supports corrupt and violent racists like BLM and supports violent arsonists and looters like Antifa, such as Ebay does, promoting and glorifying their hats and shirts, needs to move to another planet and allow civilized people to enjoy their hard-fought Freedoms and Human Rights.

When I use a quote that isn't mine, I like to note that.  Which is what I did for the post to you.  If you prefer, I can post the definition from one of the main stream Dictionaries, they are all similar.  If that works better for you, I'm happy to look that up for you.  And I didn't "censor" anything.

Yes using our own words often lead to misunderstands when someone interprets a word to mean something it really doesn't.  I get it that some like to co-op a word and redefine it.  That is very clearly being done especially in the last few years.

You're right.

It's all ebay fault.

As an aside, two eBay sellers debating what “woke” means is ultra-cringe.  This is like two ladies arguing over whether Talbots has more street cred than Chicos.

Let us know which subjects we are not allowed to discuss per your opinion.  Your comment is very misogynistic.

So, it has been over 2 days.

Have you opted out of "business policies" yet?

Discuss whatever you want. But I can call it cringe. And not sure how my comment was misogynistic. If you’d like to explain how it is, great. If you’re just trying to throw around words to intimidate people, that’s sad.  Or, if you stand at the ready to find everything and anything offensive, that’s even sadder.

and, yep - completely appropriate to call out folks for having a “woke” debate.

I know.  Sometimes it is difficult to see how something might not sit well with others.  Your statement assuming "This is like two ladies arguing over whether Talbots has more street cred than Chicos.", is misogynistic.

"Intimidate[ing]" others isn't my thing.  Not sure how calling you out for a statement you made is taken that way, but I accept that it is your opinion.

"if you stand at the ready to find everything and anything offensive, that’s even sadder."  Well that would require all my posts to reflect something like that when it is actually a very small number of my posts where I call someone out on something they said.

I don't know what "Talbots" or "Chicos" are/is. I don't give a FF.

I don't do "street cred" or "cringe" - I do Human Dignity, Character, Honesty, etc.

Yes, I figured it out, on my own, and I already posted and clicked on "Mark as a Solution" but Wokeworld by the Bay refuses to end cycle.

The fact that you used "two women," and not "two men" in your example, makes you, according to Woke-folk, a sexist. The woke-propriate wording would have been "two old, rich, hetero white Republican males."

Oh, forgot "Russian". How frightened of reality is WokeBay they censor my Valdimir Putin hat?
