Why are my items not showing up in listings??

Ok, so I have wondered why I have listings that nobody looks at, so today I started to investigate. I have SEVERAL listings that (and I'm sure more will be added as I search for them) so far do not show up when I copy the exact title of my listing and then paste it in the search bar.  I keep getting no exact items found.  In the beginning I tried searching for just basic words, like I have a pair of men's Yogi Bear men's pajamas for sale, so I searched Yogi Bear Men's Pajamas, I searched Yogi Bear Pajamas,  searched just Yogi Bear, I searched it in all categories, I searched it in clothing...NO RESULTS! Not even in Advanced Search.

Other listings I have already searched and can't find are, and these are exact titles copied and pasted.

That's pretty freaking weird! I just did a search on 6 of them and nope, do not show up. I then looked at the listings under your name and only 2 listings show up. That's it. I have noticed that a few times (like 4) during the month my listings do not show up in searches. I know that ebay does that as part of their algorithms to get everyone seen. This is really weird though. You may want to call ebay about it. Maybe someone there can help you?

Thank you, I am planning on calling, because the list just keeps growing longer and longer.  I am trying also to search from my husband's account and they don't show up there, either.  Thank you for checking this out for me so I know I'm not crazy! I have only had one item show up so far and that is an auction item. My Precious Moments cookbook...and all I did was search Precious Moments Cookbook and it showed up!

They have the search engine so screwed up, no wonder people can't find what they want.

Agreed. I have been dealing with my items not showing in the search for about 2 months. Its ridiculous.

A long time ago..some of them have been listed for several weeks, if not months!

Send them an email and tell them exactly what’s going on. All of these tech issues are appalling to me.

It is ridiculous...all the work it takes to post something and then not to have it show up. I have a Golfer Santa Christmas Stocking that has zero views and something with that simple of a title should show up when I search it. I have only found one item that shows up in the search so far...an auction item.  I've searched 16 items so far with exact titles and only the auction one shows up.

Yeah, there is definitely something wrong there. i hope they can figure it out! That would seriously drive me crazy too.

It's probably because they're not promoted. eBay would rather items sell in which they get 25% commission. They want to be able to say it's only 12.9% in fees,  but unless you set your PL rate at +12%, you are a ghost.

I have had items promoted and still no action on them!

It is weird because I also see just 2 listings. And both of those listings are showing as having begun days ago. The Precious Moments cookbook has a start date of October 25 and the Jesus Pepsi decal began October 21.

Yes, those are only auction listings I have...all the buy it now's are the one's that don't show up.
