I posted 2 brand name sunglasses on Ebay 4 days ago. I haven't received a view on either item. I've been selling on Ebay for years...not as much recently...but I know something is off when I don't have a single view in 4 days. I can't afford to pay extra for promotions after shipping and their fees. Are they just burying the items not being promoted? Has anyone else noticed this? Tom

The View count has recently changed. Sellers only see live views from real people... no more bots. So, yes... lots less views.

No views in 4 days?  Buckle up, be prepared for no views in 40 days.

When I do a search for Panama Jack sunglasses I find 971 listings. BUT in the last 90 days there have been 431 sales. Extrapolate that out to an average of about 140 sales per month on 971 listings and there, I suggest, is the problem.

And, seriously, it has only been 4 days. Patience please.

You are off season for them now. The Trista's you have priced right, but those Panama Jack ones are competing against brand new ones that are very similar in the same price range.

I did a search for one of your pairs and they came up, but so did many, many other similar if not the same. So, it's more understandable now with so many others currently listed that yours aren't attracting more views, within only four days to boot. It will obviously take more time to sell, it's sometimes a timing thing. Have patience. FYI- I've never used promoted listings and I sell every week on here. Your listings are not being buried. Best of luck to you....

I wear sunglasses just as much (if not more) in the winter as I do in the summer.  Last time I checked, the sun was still out in the winter.

They're a must where I live.  Snow blindness is real, and not fun.

How long has it been since you listed? This isn’t the old days.

You have 3 items up. And it’s winter.

People wear them in the winter, yes, but they really don't SELL in the winter. We carry them at my B&M retail job and 99% of our sunglasses sales are in the spring and summer.

I live in a place where people wear sunglasses even when it's dank and gray, which it is quite a lot.  We also wear socks with sandals and drink gallons of espresso.  I keep groping for a connection.

Try putting the sunglasses up at fixed price - people don't want really to bid on stuff that's just easily gotten locally - sunglasses for most people are a practical item.  Also keep listing things - you want to keep the pot boiling.
