If you can see the three screenshots i listed the live progress shot and the preview look fine but when its listed its a combo of different fonts and bold or not. Is this just another ebay glitch or a virus i might have??? No matter if i reformat it when it posts that happens.

Your best bet in this situation is to save your text somewhere, delete the existing text and just retype it all in one shot. That's the only fix that I've found.

Thx for the response but no way am i retyping 100 listings that are messed up like that.

You probably have some bad HTML coding buried in the description.

Are you by any chance copying/pasting some of the text from another program (Word for example?).

You may be able to fix this by copying the text in the description, paste it into Windows Notepad (this will strip out any html) then copy/paste it back to the eBay listing form and then preview. This should fix the problem or at least indicate that there is more to the issue if it doesn't.

This has happened to me - it looks like an HTML problem - if you go into the HTML view you'll probably see that you've got stray font tags - unfortunately, this can happen if one revises current listings to use other fonts, styles, etc. If you clean those up, those should fix the problem. To check, go into one of the problem listings in edit mode "Show more options" ---> "see more options" then tick the HTML box. Be prepared to squint.

If you're using templates, you can fix the problem at that level. If not, then sorry, the only way to fix existing listings is one at a time, eliminating the HTML (not just copy/pasting a new description over the old one) then dropping in your new description. If it's only about 100 listings, you can knock those out in a half an hour.
