Why Is It NOT possible for regular sellers without a store, to set an AWAY / VACATION status ?
I need to go away for 4 or 5 days and wish to keep my items active, but make it clear I am away. 
This option should be available to EVERYONE !

Not at all. You asked, I answered...and I don't have a store. And honestly, you can stand on my toes all you want. I gotz big feet, bro.

You weren't simply looking for a feaure. That would be a quick "Hey, is vacation available to non-store owners?" You posted much more than that. And the setting does exist...with a store subscription.

Your wish isn't granted even if they did let you use it.

All it is, is a pink box of text no one ever reads anyway. Vacation settings do nothing
