1. No link at the top next to MY EBAY. So it's not as convenient
2. No way to remove items. Need to click many times to get to active items to end one item ,then login again to end each item while it never takes you back to active items where you were. No option.
3. Was reprimanded for "Holding a place" because only certain times a day my internet is fast enough to do 10 clicks in a row, logging in and out taking about 10-15 minutes to complete just one removal of an item
4. Ebay relisting my sold items. Started again, the glitch which seems almost purposeful after reporting that it takes so long to remove an item. Way before the reprimand, I sent in many complaints about this issue of them refusing to allow access to remove items. It shouldnt take 10 clicks each time you want to remove something and each time, logging in again
They've offered a ton of free lisitngs so I am selling until the end of July. Otherwise Mercari & Poshmark keep me busy enough. Amazon somewhat busy. All are very easy platforms to sell on.
The time on the phone to ebay to fix all their newly invented problems and time it takes to sell here is not worth it.

Where-as Amazon you are automatically paid every 2 weeks (Unless i click it to get paid sooner, it's very quck).
eBay's managed payments you can draw your payouts daily if you wish. No waiting two weeks. It takes a day or two to hit your bank from most reports. I plan to draw out weekly so all of the shipping is covered (ship from payouts).

Well thought out. Good luck to you!

Thank you 🙂 I appreciate it. Time is money so I work about 3x as long to sell one item on Ebay vs other platforms. Mercari being the best platform and their fees are less than half of ebays fees!! So I save well over 50% on fees
Also EBAy has rewarded scammers by charging sellers for so many decades now I've not had one scammer on Mercari and am at close to 100 transactions. Never had one on Poshmark either. Mercari has excellent customer service though it can take up to a few days for a response. They always take care of the issue immediately and aren't reading a script. So it doesn't waste a ton of time listening to a robotic response.
I save about 60% on fees total and a ton of time selling on just those two sites. Too bad ETSY got **bleep** too or I might consider selling over there also.

...I heard from friends whom sells on Etsy that their policies is almost eBay's copycat...
...someone from here created Etsy...? (just wonder...?)
(may be I should google it!)

This one has me curious, I have heard it many times but not once in 10 years and over 8,500 sales has this happened to me. So, are you sure some scammer didn't send you a PAID fake paypal or ebay email and got you to ship the item?
Because that would explain it...
That one actually makes sense.
You folks better be SURE you got paid, something else in your settings or preferences is likely not proper, who knows but rest assured it's not a "glitch" when it only happens to some sellers but not others since that doesn't fit the definition of a glitch.

eBay copies stuff Amazon and their boards. I still need to try complaining about eBay on Amazon so I can get problems resolved 😛

Etsy was created as a social commerce experiment - nothing to do with eBay. However, an former exec from eBay is now Etsy's CEO, which is why Etsy is starting to resemble eBay more and more.

This has been a problem for years, but Ebay doesn't think there is a problem.
It's been a few years but I had a couple listings get relisted that sold a month or so before.

I don't understand this response I am sorry. A glitch meant a software glitch. It just reared it's ugly head again. Whatever you want to label it is fine with me.

Yes Etsy is going downhill trying to copy EBAY. Trying to control sellers by forcing them, without permission, to do certain things. Oh well can't do much about it except just sell on cutting edge platforms instead

good to know.

I believe you can get paid out daily with MP. A MP rep actually made a good point for a change. PayPal never gave you your money instantly technically. They just advanced the money while waiting for it to clear.
