Why Can't I Opt Out of Automated Relisting?

I've tried twice to opt out of eBay automatically relisting my auction items 8 times. Both times I called Support and they walked me through the process, checking "remove automation rules" both times. But it doesn't work. Both times my auctions were automatically relisted if they didn't sell. I wouldn't mind relisting at auction once but not eight times. Today I called Support again, went through the steps again but was shown a list of the 7 items I have at auction right now and the button that says remove automation is grayed out. I can't opt out of the repetitive relisting. 

Does anybody know how to get out of it? TIA.

I don't think this is an *account* setting, so there isn't any setting on your account that will change it.

AFAIK, the automatic-relist-8-times is a check-box on the listing form. I don't know how you can change it (if there is any way) after the listing has been created with this, but for future listings, you need to make sure that this setting is not checked on the listing form.

You can try revising the listing, since the original check box was on the listing form. That's the best option at this point.

Thanks. I usually list on my iPad and don’t see a box to check or uncheck about automatically relisting. I’ll look on my Mac for it.
