Who is paying for my shipping labels?

I just noticed that all my sales from April 25th on have not been deducting the cost of my shipping labels from my Ebay funds. The labels show as 'paid', but after searching every page on  my Seller Hub I can't figure out how they were paid. I need to figure this put, so I don't get hit with a surprise bill for a bunch of $$$.

The shipping cost is deducted from the sale.  The seller pays for the item plus tax & the cost of shipping when they buy.  Once you print the label, that is deducted from the money you received from that sale.  You owe nothing.

There is a checkbox at the bottom of the “print label” page that allows for the funds to be taken from your PayPal account.  Next time you ship, scroll down and check that setting.

How did you ship, USPS, UPS or Fedex?

UPS & Fedex do not charge for the shipping until after the item has been delivered. When you print the label, down at the bottom of the page, it says something like you will be charged when the label is used, which means when the item is delivered.

USPS charges for shipping when the label is printed.

Also, International Shipping (not EiS or GSP) sometimes delays charging until a later date.

If you don't have 'Your funds' ticked, then they're being paid through 'Your saved PayPal account', as @monica-sells illustrates.

If they're being paid through your PayPal, you can go to your PayPal wallet and see what method is selected as your 'Preferred method of payment while shopping online'. That will be where the payments are coming from.

Ever since ebay switched me to Managed Payments a couple years ago, my labels have always come from my funds. I haven't made any changes myself, but I didn't take into account the fact that ebay just moved me into their new International Shipping program. I'll have to see what's what the next label I print.

The same thing has happened to me.  I didn't make any changes to my shipping, but now my shipping costs are being deducted from my PayPal account.  I don't sell that much, so each time I print a label, I forget to make the change back to subtracting the cost from my Ebay sale.  Is there a way to go in and select this option for all future sales?  Very frustrating.

To make the change, tick 'Your funds' again on the label page. It should default there, but check it with each label, anyway. Good luck.

I would also like to know the same. Let me know if you get any answers. I happened to order rare edition game mouse and all the label information was messed up.

I thought I was crazy two days ago when my labels were coming out of my PayPal account. I had always set them for available funds. I called, and got 3 worthless answers and wasted an hour. It is pathetic that a simple answer no one could answer. So now I have to make sure each label is not defaulting to paypal. Thanks for starting this thread.

Okay, finally figured out that was happening to me too... my label page switched from 'my funds' to 'paypal'... right after Ebay enrolled me in their new International Shipping program. Everyone check your label page before you purchase!

I opened the Shipping Label tab under the Orders tab.  I don't see anywhere on this page where you can find "Your Funds" or any other options.  It is just a list of all previously shipped items.  Maybe I am looking in the wrong place?

It’s on the screen where you print your label. The next label you have to print, scroll to the very bottom of that screen to find the options.
