Where'd all my profits go?

I sold a graphic t shirt for $20 plus shipping.

By the time I buy the cheapest pen and envelope at Walgreens for $7. Drop it off at the post office with first class for $6. I'm left with a $5 profit.

My mom will probably loan me money and I'll spend it on a small storage unit. Then I'll just keep going to Goodwill Clearance center and buy a shopping cart.

Do it all from phone. I'll use QR codes for shipping. But the post office in walking distance from shelter doesn't have self service.

That is where I lived.

I would take my shopping cart to the bus stop.

Ride the bus for 2 hours to the goodwill bins. Shop there for 4 hours. Fill the cart for $50. Ride the bus home for 2 hours. I'd be gone from 9 am till 7 pm just to spend $30 to$50 on merchandise that costs $1.69 a pound.

How long will you be allowed to remain at the shelter?

Do you have a mailing address so that any buyer who needs to return his purchase can do so?

I'm assuming no (unless his mom is in the area), but OP can choose to refund without a return if it comes to that. Hopefully they don't get many return requests.

Have you considered switching from 60 day returns to no returns until you have an address again, pigeonpicker?

Vegas shelters Are stay as long as you need to. There's men that have been sleeping in the bunk beds for 10 years. I can get mail at the shelter. Or general delivery.

OP is already complaining about a $5 profit.  How would he feel about having to front return postage and refunding?

Not to be rude and i feel for your situation. Any chance on picking up a full time job since you have a address. Restaurants and construction sites are hiring anybody since the are in need of so much help right nowe. I will keep you in my prayers.
