I got a misleading form letter from eBay today after calling Customer Support yesterday to get 3 late shipping defects removed. The Selling Performance Department told me I had gotten a form letter and that it's content did NOT apply to my account which showed excellent selling performance, even though the letter said "I've looked into your selling activity and would like to share some tips about how you can improve your performance." It said: "Based upon your Seller Dashboard, I can see you have low defect rate because of Transaction Canceled for being Out of Stock. Follow these best practices to help avoid seller-canceled transactions:"
Nowhere on my Seller Dashboard do I see any info or stats about transaction cancellations, much less the reason for the cancellations. To my knowledge I have canceled a single transaction in well over a decade of selling on eBay for being out of stock.
Last December I reported suspected fraud on 28 $1.00 sales of the same item to 28 new users, most with 0 feedback, and all being mailed to different users at the same address. eBay cancelled most of these transactions for "not a registered user" or "no longer a registered user," and I was told to cancel the rest using invalid address as the reason. In late March I reported 19 suspicious $1.00 sales and eBay canceled some of these for "unauthorized use of buyer account." I was told by customer service to cancel the rest of these using invalid address as the reason. I would like to see the info or stats of all the cancellations, as I believe most were due to fraud. Where do I find these stats?
Also, eBay should NOT send misleading form letters to its sellers, particularly an offensive one that treat me as a seller who can't manage inventory, has too many seller cancellations without requests from my buyers, etc. It's been a long time since I've been so angry.

In Seller Hub - go to Seller Level - click on the right arrow.
It will take you to Transaction Defect Rate - if you click on that, it details all those that you cancelled, INRs & SNADs, etc.

Thanks, that worked. Is there any way to see cancellation stats that go back more than the past 3 months?

I am not certain - I think everything is a 90 day window in Seller Hub. Will it let you run a report or download any of the data? My number there is zero, so I cannot test it for you. Perhaps someone else can chime in if they have stats there.
