I love ebay but lately there are no sales no views. The only time i had views was when i did ppc. Miraculously I had “views” instantly but no sales. On other marketplaces i have sales without paying extra. When is it time to just throw in the towel.

Not sure if you should throw in the towel on any site. Times are tough and changing by adapting to the current environment is key. Sounds like you are ahead of the curve by cross listing which is awesome.
Ebay still has the largest audience from any site that i know of so i would not stop because of sluggish sales.
If you are spinning wheels with no results, concentrate on those platforms that are performing but i would keep your listings up on Ebay and any other platform you have them.

Views are down because ebay has changed the way they report views.
They no longer report bot views, only views by real human beings.
Sales are down because you are not selling items that people want to buy right now.
If you were selling Playstation 5's I think you would have a lot more sales.

As far as I can see, you only have 7 items in store. Of course you're not going to get any sales if you aren't selling anything.

How many items do you have listed? 6? I realized a long time ago that to average around 1 sale a day, I need at least 320 items listed.

Really depends on what you are selling. I have stuff that sits for months while the other day I listed a computer GPU and it got over 200 views in the first 24 hours and sold the next day. I promoted at 5% but I honestly think it would have sold just as soon w/o promotion.

You have had a couple of sales this month which given the number of items you have posted is not that bad compared to what others are posting. Out of the 9 items you had listed you sold 2 which is about 20% and given the slowness across the board that is not that bad.

Good point.
I have nearly 300 items listed.
I average 1-3 sales a day.

we just went through the suppose Amazon Prime sale that is nothing more than the mid-year black Friday sale to dump old stock merchandise!
The Amazon buyers who pay that $120+ annual fee is convinced they are getting a better deal, but in reality, they can probably buy cheaper on eBay with no membership fees and the same service.
What really hurts is that eBay does very little / nothing in advertising on any format.
When I watch the local news, I see advertising more than news! Amazon, Starbucks, Walmart, KFC, Taco Bell (really) and it can be for the dumbest thing just to fill in minutes in the broadcast.

Fun Fact: Actually, the broadcasts are just filling in the minutes between the advertising.

There are 22 search results for Play Impossible Gameball priced from $21.99 to $84.99 dollars.
There are 9 sold results for $19.50 to $49.95 dollars.
Your is priced at $999.00 dollars.
You should search the active and sold listings and adjust your price, accordingly.
The current price would deter buyers from viewing the listing, let alone buying.
Your 4 word description of 'Item is brand new' does not promote the features and benefits that would convince the buyers to purchase your item.
Industry analysts predicted that Google Maps would become the preferred navigation software because it is free. That would happen even though the Garmin is superior product.
Your laptops priced from $589 to $999 dollars have a low cost alternative called a Chromebook.
Some consumers don't have any sort of a computer. They function with a smartphone only.
You should Throw In The Towel as far as not replenishing your current inventory. Try different items in other categories with more demand and median to average pricing.

I have often compared prices across multiple ecommerce sites when I am looking to buy something and generally Amazon is cheaper than eBay but not always. I have also found items elsewhere that were cheaper than either eBay or Amazon. As for the service it depends on where you live. I happen to live in a major metropolitan area and have ordered stuff from Amazon before noon and had it delivered by 5 the same day with no shipping upcharge.
What really hurts is that eBay does very little / nothing in advertising on any format. About the only eBay advertising I hear or see is for eBay automotive and I hear and see that quite often.

"When is it time to just throw in the towel." That is a question anyone in business should have answered prior to starting a specific endeavor. Metrics should be made first so you know when your investment goes south. That is how you will know when it is time to move on or make major adjustments to your business plan.

Well...your inventory is small and your prices are high. Neither will help you sell in an economic crisis

When is it time to just throw in the towel.
You use ONE venue where you have NO SALES.
You use MULTIPLE other venues where you GET SALES.
Remind me what your question was again?
