When to ship item?

Hello, I am a new seller and am wondering when I should print the label for this item, I sold it at like 1 AM this morning, the problem is I cant send it out today or tomorrow (sunday), so I just havent printed the shipping label yet. I had selected 1 day processing, but I will be unable to actually ship it until Monday, should I print the label today to avoid issues, or wait until sunday night?

 You can choose to print the label today or tomorrow. Just be sure to click on the date the package is to be shipped.(Monday 24) Ebay will let the buyer know that you are preparing the item for shipment.

I think you'll find that when you print the Shipping label, it will be dated on Monday anyway. Assuming we're talking about the two Pokémon cards, for which you're promising shipment in hard-shell cases within a padded envelope, that should be an easy First Class Package shipment in a package that will fit in any post office drop box, so I would just print your label, package it up and drop it at your post office today or tomorrow if possible. Even if it doesn't physically leave the PO until Monday, it will be out of your hands.

(Just as a data point, even though my own post office closes at 1:00 on Saturdays, their last drop box collection isn't until 5:45, a good hour and a quarter from now, so if I had something that needed to go out right now, it would be on its way out of town this evening.)

As for your 1-day Handling time, I think that officially you have until Monday night to print your label and get it out of there, but I would do it sooner if possible.

@boden4156- before you ship log in to PayPal to make sure the payment was sent through by the buyer. It may be on hold since you're a new seller but you should see a message that says it's ok to ship.

Items sold on Friday, Saturday or Sunday do not ship until Monday for a one day handling time.  I would wait until tomorrow evening, print your label so you can mail it off  Monday morning.

Saturday and Sunday are not business days and do not count toward your handling time, whatever that may be.

I usually print the labels immediately after packing the item, so items sold Friday night for shipment on Saturday are printed immediately for instance, as are items sold Saturday night thru Sunday for shipping on Monday. Just make sure you select the correct day of shipment at the bottom of the label creation page (although I’ve never had a problem if I have accidentally selected a wrong day). 

I HATE being in a rush to print labels the “day of” shipping and refuse to paint myself into that corner.

I need to clarify this:

If you sell something on Friday and have a one day handling time, you are within your one day handling time if you ship on Monday, since Saturday and Sunday do not count. You are, of course, perfectly free to ship on Saturday.  I ship on Saturday for Friday sales.

When I re-read it, it sounds like I'm saying you shouldn't ship on Saturday, and just wanted to clarify to avoid any confusion.
