I have been trying to find the answer to this for 2 days. When do most sellers end their Christmas listings and save them to relist in October of next year?
I have items like gift bags, stockings, Christmas dog collar. I am wondering if I leave up the dog collar but end everything else? My niche is selling breed Specific items and non breed specific dog items. (Mostly sell Boston terrier and French Bulldog products).
I hope my question wasn’t confusing.

We are just getting hit with snow here and at the store we are already getting our sandals and weed eaters in. No more winter boots coming in and in fact what we had leftover went into clearance day after christmas.

I usually take my Christmas jewelry off a few days after Christmas ,, especially if they are showing no longer any interest . I figure many people are pretty much broke after the holidays so the last thing they will be buying is holiday theme items ,,unless they are greatly disscounted . Yesterday I sold the only Christmas locket I still had up because it still had 3 watchers . I really don't count my The nightmare before Christmas themed lockets because they tend to sell all year long. Tulips

I sell Christmas year-round, have sold anywhere from 25 to 70 Christmas items per day since Christmas, and quite a few Halloween items also. I don't ever take mine down.

December 2011 I started selling on eBay. I'd decided three Christmas trees was no longer something I was up to doing, so I listed all but my most favorite Hallmark ornaments. So at that time I had Christmas stuff listed all year round for about two years. This year I pulled out three boxes of other Christmas ornaments that I'd put aside and labeled as "resting". With few exceptions I decided that I was ok letting these ornaments go and I listed them on eBay in Oct-Nov-Dec. For the very first time since they dropped the freebies to 50 per month, in November I had to let a couple non-Christmas items drop off because between the free listings and the specials I didn't have enough freebies to relist them.
I usually run with just less than 200 items. Right now I'm hovering around 350. What I decided to do with this year's Christmas stuff was to keep listing it until they have to drop off because I can't list for free. In fact I'm looking quite forward to boxing stuff up for 9 months because my office is one breath away from an avalanche with all the excess items being out and accessible. I'll be glad to pack stuff away to give me some elbow room, and I'm happy to relist if I get specials. Either way works for me.

Christmas collectibles and decor..... it's still in people's minds what they wanted. What they'd change. They spent money on stuff like gifts and food. Now in january, they not only have more free money, but they likely also got cash for gifts...... Many people do not live paycheck to paycheck and can afford to buy stuff now.
dept 56 will see the best prices for about the next 5 weeks, then they'll die off. Anything with a brand name I'd not only list, but I'd promote it.

Sold 5 pieces of Dept 56 last night.
I have a huge collection of a certain Christmas widget that sells well all year. The 10 months that aren't November or December are better for selling because everybody and their cousin lists them starting in November and there are zillions to sift through then. I do have some rare ones that sell right away (been collecting this stuff forever) and I'm going through my bins this week to find more.
I got all excited and pulled two big storage thingies from the top of my closet; not Christmas items but things that I finally decided I should part with because...they sell ! Turns out I already sold most of the good ones.
I'm tellin' ya, I'm on a roll and the cat better hide his menagerie of mouses - they could go next !!

amazing for you. I've decided there's just too much around here. Have enough for 10 trees.......
8 full sets of dishes. One is 16 10 piece place settings. 2 have cream soup and saucer sets...... Sit down formal dinner for 80! Let that sink in...... 80!
