When is it too much?

Am I the only one that thinks it's weird that you never get any views unless you pay for the marketing by ebay to promote a listing on ebay? And now they have some new express promoting thing which is going to be even more than the normal promoting? Do y'all have other popular outlets of where to sell because I'm about done with eBay?

I looked at one and stopped. No need to look at the others as everything you have is 20x more than sold prices. Walter Payton #360 non graded sold listings show $10-80 price range. You want $1,000. Good luck with views.

Hi, sorry to see a good seller leave.

i haven’t experienced the phenomenon you describe— no views unless the item is promoted. I only promote a couple of special items, but the rest are then listed without it. I still get sales. To be honest, I don’t pay too much attention to the number of views and watchers on my listings, because it just takes one buyer to make the sale. That’s the only one i am interested in.

Your prices are too high, plain and simple.  Did you check the prices of anything that sold?  You don't need to promote if you are selling something that is wanted at a price that is desirable.

I have never promoted and never will.  Do some research on the items you are selling.

Good luck

Sorry to say your prices are not going to get you any sales.  I cannot speak for everything but your asking prices on sports cards is extremely inflated.  The Larry King is a nickel card. Millions of them were produced.  Even if it was signed, it would be $15?

Agreed that his sports card prices are beyond ridiculous.  But.............he sold the nickel Mr. Rogers card for $50.

Thats just not true, depends on what you are selling..I recently listed a pair of earrings that had sixty eight views in two days, then sold.

"5/8 Karat Princess Cut Diamond Engagement Ring - Size 6.5"

That should be 'carat', not 'karat'. Karat refers to the gold content.

To get views someone has to click on your item. At those pie in the sky prices you are howling at the moon.

We never have promoted. More than enough views and watchers. Been a great year for sales.

There is a real good chance it was a sport bidder.  They love to play along when they see a seller playing games.

I would be eager to find out about this outlet where you can sell trading cards for 5-1000 times their market value. You have cards I would use as packing material listed for $50+.

Promoted listings don't increase VIEWS.

People will click on and  VIEW your listing if they are interested in it.
