Anyone else notice Paypal no longer offers email address for buyer or seller ?
Interesting & guessing it is ebay again fearful buyers & sellers will conduct offsite transactions.

In the meantime if you need the buyer's e-mail you can click reply to the paypal e-mail since that pulls it up in the To field.
Thanks so much
I was also told it was a glitch
You can also hit Classic site and the email for both Parties will come up.
If I need it again before or if it ever gets fixed I will just click the reply for the address.
I always delete those emails but will make a file and hold on to them for now.
Thanks again

Of course once they go to Adyen we'll no longer get email addresses anyway.
So true, will be interesting to see how that will all work.

Possibly, but on Etsy which uses Adyen as their payment processor, email addresses of buyers are shown/available to sellers via the Order/Transaction Record that is archived within your Etsy account.

Currently you can see e-mail addresses on eBay. Through seller hub go to the transaction and click "view record". The e-mail address is shown with a note that says "Email addresses will be displayed for 45 days after a transaction ends."

But is that their eBay email or their PP email?
eBay unless the buyer is using the same e-mail address for both services. I checked three transactions. One had different e-mails on eBay and PayPal and two had the same e-mails on eBay and PayPal.

I also seem to recall that in PayPal if you open the transaction and pick the classic view (or whatever its called) it will display the email and other info ...

On my PayPal accounts, the email addresses stopped on April 5. Transactions from April 5 on show a new field that reads:
Need to contact the buyer? Log in to your eBay account and go to order details.
At the top of my PayPal activity page is a drop-down category labeled MORE. Clicking CUSTOMERS takes me to a non-sortable report showing 20 names, delivery addresses, email addresses, and transaction $ and date. After that is a clickable SHOW MORE CUSTOMERS field. That result is labeled 21 -40 CUSTOMERS, but it shows the same 20 as in the first 20. Same with 41-60 and 61-80 and on and on.
Interesting glitch.

I noticed just last night that the email address of the buyer is shown on a Paypal packing slip....print it out BEFORE you ship, and you'll have it indefinitely. For me, the option to print a packing slip goes away once tracking is uploaded to Paypal.
My 3rd party shipping program (ShipWorks) pulls email addys and stores them in that program, which is where I ususally go if I need to contact a buyer directly. Just easier for me doing it that way.

Look at the transaction details page. ~~C~~
The whole point of this thread is that the transaction details page and the packing slip no longer contain the buyer's email address, starting with transactions some time in mid-April.
