I thought it was intentional - meant to be punny. 
Your list is missing something though. I'd like to know how the words are often misspelled. For example, how does one misspell twelve? Or banana?
As far as widgets go, there are some crazy spellings out there... bowl = bowel is the most disturbing that comes to mind.

,,,and I also have a problem with spelling ~ not necessarily spelling a word incorrectly, but typing a word with the wrong meaning. There was a question about measuring pants, and I posted "what about the pants waste" rather than "pants waist" ~ that comment took the thread in a whole new direction!
copper, lol on the bowels! I have posted about my "bowel" hobby before...as of this minute there are 17 listings with the word "bowel" rather than "bowl". If I have extra time on my hands I will do a bowel check and send a message to the seller letting them know.
The use of the word "sell" instead of "sale"...as in, "how are your sells" is another one that I can't figure out ~ I guess it could be a regional thing .
