What would you tell the EBAY CEO/Board members if they would ask you what should Ebay work on?

If you could get it off your chest please do so what would you tell those at the top(board members) who are calling the shots for Ebay?
What is Ebay doing wrong and how can they improve?

Hopefully someone with a few remaining brain cells within Ebay will hear us out.

I think a lot of the changes are implemented because the shakers and the movers of eBay are trying to justify their big pay checks.  
The presentation of some of these changes are considered innovative I’m sure. Only on paper!

STOP TRYING TO BE SITE WHERE EVERYONE HATES YOU.  Have you ever heard of a happy seller at the River?  No, they are abusive, rude and don't care about anything but money.

Fix the dang search engine, nobody wants 500 unrelated results in every search, it doesn't work!!

Do an about-face on your item specifics re-design. 

• It's not working. 
• Your team has been trying to fix it for about 2 weeks now with no resolve in sight. 
• Your sellers are seeing red (in more ways than one). 
• Their buyer's are seeing confusion or nothing (that they want b/c of the messed up specifics...not to mention Cassini)
• Let's mention Cassini (again) - it does not function properly and is getting worse every year.

I am knocking on the door of 20 years with Ebay. I have read pages after pages of this post and if Ebay does nothing, it will be a shame. I have been spending some time looking into change myself as for a new place to sell. There are so many REAL complaints here that it obviously should not need repeated over and over again. The old saying,ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. LISTEN to the SELLERS. It is obvious you are loosing sellers and many more soon.You are not going to fix ALL problems overnight. Lets start with loosing the GTC thing and getting it announced to sellers and show some kind of sign here that you ARE listening. Lets get it turned back around before too many leave and it all goes over the cliff!!!! GTC is a joke. All of your pages have a place to click on that says tell us what you think. You took down the contact Ebay by message.How many sellers Quit and didnt even have an option to message you about their concern about GTC for example. Did you take it off because you dont want to here it? It is so obvious, you better start listening to your sellers AND show them you are listening.

Negotiate better rates for shipping!! 

Stop trying to be Amazon!! Ebay is a completely different platform.

Stop the blackouts for listings. Roll back the search engine about 4 years.

Showing only 1 item in a "buy box" is ridiculous.

Stop putting listings of bad sellers with horrible feedback before sellers with great feedback.

Stop throttling accounts.

Stop putting China first in listings. They have cheap products and horrible ship times.

Bring back all shipping options visible to buyers. Most will pay for slower shipping for a better rate especially on seasonal items. I sell Christmas all year round and people don't mind getting the item after 5 days.

The list can seriously go on and on.

Cut back on selling fees, get rid of the whole promoted listings ***BLEEP*** and if you want to promote listings, do it for the good sellers (not just TRS, but ALL sellers that seem to live up to a higher standard). Get rid of the GTC and go back to 30-day listings, and most importantly, STOP MESSING AROUND WITH THE SITE AND CAUSING MORE GLITCHES THEN YOU ARE FIXING. IF YOU'RE GOING TO IMPROVE THE SITE, THEN IMPROVE IT, STOP BEING A MONKEY WITH A FOOTBALL.

How about a "think tank" to develop new "improvements" instead of just throwing any old thing out there without first testing to see if it makes sense and/or actually works and benefits the sellers.

I would prefer to do my own customer support. I've done it all my life. Nobody can do it better than I can. I don't need or want eBay to help me. They can't do the level of tech support I can do.

Their HORRENDOUS return policy.  It's egregiously stupid, deliberately brutal toward sellers and openly invites fraud.  That is the first and foremost problem.  Another thing is to reinstate full feedback for buyers.  It's atrocious that scammers can scam all they want and still have a 100% feedback rating.  Lastly, eBay needs to reinstate the 30 day, etc listings.
