Dear sellers,
If you could get it off your chest please do so what would you tell those at the top(board members) who are calling the shots for Ebay?
What is Ebay doing wrong and how can they improve?
Hopefully someone with a few remaining brain cells within Ebay will hear us out.
and Go...…...…….

1. Quit revising things that don't require improvement
2. Quit launching changes that haven't been thoroughly tested
3. Stop pretending to think like a buyer, you're horrible at it. Usability test your platform with real buyers, not fellow-employees or other programmers. If you don't have a formal Usability Lab, build one and have it run by someone who understands how it should be done. Do not release ANYTHING without first usability (not just breakability) testing it.
4. Stop pretending to think like a seller, you're horrible at that too. Usability test your platform with real sellers, not fellow-employees or other programmers and stop thinking that an eBay employee who sells a few things a year actually knows about selling the way we do. Anything you do off the edge of your desk, you're not really knowledgeable about.
5. Quit tweaking or reversing policy and then not announcing it or publishing it
6. Never ever ever allow or encourage your customer support staff to engage in OUTREACH to sellers asking them to do things they're not required to do (like let someone buy who's on their blocked bidder list) and quit trying to convince yourselves that allowing this is something wonderful when it's the exact opposite
7. Make your policies easier to find. The current section is so bad that it would be funny if it weren't such a life-sucking experience trying to find things (and I'm the policy monkey, so I ought to know!)
8 Quit jogging my elbow when I'm trying to work. Sometimes you remind me of my 8 year old brother who used to do that while proclaiming "I'm not touching you!". There are way too many interruptions of the wrong kind.
9. Just because I look at something one time doesn't mean I want 5+ messages from you about it over the next week. Let me look in peace. You're like the worst kind of store clerk on commission.

Their number one priority should be their technological infrastructure - fix search - eliminate half the algorithms and item specifics requirements. It would be a waste of money to advertise when there are so many technical issues that need addressing.

Stop charging on shipping costs.
Sellers have no control over what they are charged by Postal authorities.
Many items will no longer support this type of theft to line your pockets and you are losing more and more of those sellers.
And then you want sellers to lower prices to sell more when your fees keep increasing. Not great logic.
Get rid of the attitude that buyers are Gods and can do no wrong, and that sellers are trash to be kicked to the curb.

MAKE EBAY GREAT AGAIN!

Sellers need a dedicated assistance board for managed payments. Some have not gotten funds released for more than a week with no satisfactory explanation as to what the problem is or when they will be paid.
These are not new or inexperienced sellers with selling limits having this issue.
A decent IT department would be a good start.

Ebay is not a tech company, it is a sales platform that needs sales promotions.

Do we really know who calls the shots at eBay? Is it the CEO's or the Shareholders? Therefore, my comment is for the "Big Cheese" "The Top-Dog" and the "Head Honcho" at eBay who holds a position of power.
My main peeves with eBay is the lack of credibility from Customer Service or the call center or whatever it is that's masquerading as Customer Support. The information provided as support for sellers can be unreliable, inconsistant and useless. eBay, listen up, sellers need new and improved Customer Support or just tell us, eBay doesn't offer that for sellers.
Lets face it eBay, fraud is an issue on eBay. make my day and do something to stop buyer and seller fraud.

and Go...…...…….
Um...???
Anyway, fix the code - clean it up, institute better development and get better brains behind it, do thorough beta testing, quit making live changes. Though I expect that horse has long since left the stable, not a lot will do much good if the site keeps having glitches and snarl-ups and doesn't work.

GET YOUR SEARCH ENGINE TO WORK PROPERLY!!!
I also get search results that have NONE of my words in them...how on earth did those listings appear on my search results?
Cassini is B-R-O-K-E-N... Please fix it...it is annoying the heck out of us buyers...as if your sellers need any more challenges...
😒

1) Offer equal or better value for the rent we pay
2) Have your future CRS reps participate in the actual fun of buying and selling on EBAY. ALso let them experience
the daily distraction of glitches and non working "Improvements" on the site,
Then maybe They'd catch a clue of how this website actually works when we call.
