International Sale made. Buyer filed Item Not Received claim, but shows delivered. ebay closed case in my favor. Buyer gives me negative feedback but ebay removed the feedback on their own. Now...buyer bought another item from me. What would you do???

@maxanddixie i would message the buyer asking if they made a mistake to buy from a seller they left neg feedback for, then cancel and block
or just block and cancel w/o any communication

Cancel as problem with buyers address.

Hi @maxanddixie
This is a pickle. What was necessary was to have placed this buyer on your Block list as soon as the first trouble started. Put them on your Block list immediately.
I would cancel the sale, but first go to the link below and report the buyer for violating the Abusive Buyer policy for suspected Unwelcome and Malicious Buying. That policy can be found at the link below:
https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/rules-policies-buyers/buying-practices-policy?id=4374
Now about the cancellation reason, you can get a defect for cancelling a transaction. But if you select Problem with Address, no defect is leveled. Under the circumstances i would do this. Good luck to you, and in the future never fail to block a buyer when a problem develops.

Also be aware this person may create a new account in an attempt to get around any blocks. Make sure you pay attention to all addresses from this area moving forward for a while. Best of luck to you....

I can't use problem with address as a reason because it's an international sale. I should be protected by ebay's international shipping policies, right?

If you are just shipping to the export hub, I’d go ahead and ship. This problem buyer claiming INR would be an eBay problem.

Anytime anyone has a complaint you should add them to the blocked buyer list right away. Cancel the order.

.... I would kick myself in the butt for not blocking them the first time. 😉
Tough call.
I think I would ship.
Like @powell-memorabilia said, if they try and file another INR you should be covered
If they file a INAD, you should be covered.
If they leave you a negative feedback, you should be covered.

I would cancel using "problem with buyers address" as the reason, then block them. No need to go through the potential headaches with this buyer a second time. It's the old "fool me once...." thing.

Thank you all for your thoughts. This is what I decided: It was a $200 item so naturally I wanted the sale, which I'm sure you all can appreciate. I shipped the item, with insurance, to the ebay HUB with the thought that ebay will protect me since I use the international shipping program. I will take your advice and block this buyer from any future purchases using their current account.

IF it's international through the EIS program. Go ahead and ship. It's risk free to you. This poor sap probably can't find that item in his country.

good call on the shipping, ebay likes sellers who ship
there are far to many ebayers on this board who look for reasons to cancel the sale
the eIS program is actually safer that USA shipping when it comes to a problem
ebay took out the BBL hyperlink many years ago on the dispute/return/INR console
I also dont get around to blocking problem buyers either, it used to be so much simpler
