What to do with bogus buyers who's trying to stop my sales?

So far I have been approached by many bogus accounts that try to stop me from selling. eBay so far hasn't helped with my reporting them.  I even had the same message from 2 different buyers. Yes. the same message! I am afraid to relist in case they'll charge me a fee for doing so.

Any advise will be very welcomed.

Thanks

Exactly what are the "bogus buyers" doing?

Asking for a message? Ignore and block.

Asking for your Paypal information? Ignore and block.

Unfortunately, as a seller with a current feedback count of 10 who's trying to sell a ~$600 camera, you are a huge magnet for scammers, and it sounds like you have heard from several already. Relisting is going to make no difference as they will simply come after you again.

If you feel that you must sell that here, decide what you actually want to get for it, and list it as a Fixed Price sale with no Make Offer and with the Immediate Payment Required option checked. (Look for that checkbox in the payment area of the full listing form.) That way no one can snatch your item off the market without actually paying you for it.

That will get you past the fake payment scams. Your next concern will be for real or false claims of shipping damage when received. You do not have to haggle a partial refund, and you do not have to refund before getting the camera back again if desired. Keep us updated on how things go.

As a_c_green  noted, the only thing you should do is delist that camera.  With such low feedback there is little doubt that you will lose it to a scammer.  Sell it locally for 20% less and you come out the same as selling on Ebay.

Make sure to open your blocked buyer list and enter these bogus buyer I.D.'s, you will not have to deal with them again

Search "block a buyer" in the help section and move forward from there

Well, actually, you won't have to deal with them again unless/until they open a new ID and try the same game.

They'll just open other account and keep trying to scam new sellers.

Have a great day.

What do you mean they are trying to "stop you from selling"?   Did they file VERO complaint on your items?   If this is what happened...I would NOT relist this item.    Your account could be permanently terminated.

Scammers love newbies who sell expensive stuff.
