What’s a good reply to an unexpected, vague negative feedback?

The title says it all. What do you guys reply when you just get a negative that says something vague like “Bad”. And you check and find out you’ve never had any communication with that buyer before?

@bigdeals.etc...hmmmm no it's still there..my device is Android phone..LG5..I tried to copy it but it won't let me.. Your FB reads to me: Sorry. You can always just communicate with me & return it for a refund thanks.....Perhaps you are right about the system translation, but I have also seen this on my desk top as well and it's a Dell windows 10????

Yea it’s the ampersand translation. Not sure what instances cause it. I don’t see the #38... just the & on its own.

I tell the truth. If someone is trying to extort money from you and you had severel emails with that person I would write “ Tries to work with customer. Tried to extort money” l tell the truth and am not kissing a buyers ass for not working with me. You will unfortunately get a knucklehead no matter how nice you are.

Oh, I have been "honest" before too, rest assured it didn't work out to my benefit.

Once a negative is left that transaction is over and done, that buyer is very unlikely to return and even if they do they're probably coming back to gloat over the negative... And they may or may not care much for the reply but that reply I left is also unlikely (hopefully anyway) to incense them further however again that transaction is over.

The reply I leave to negative feedback is not for that buyer.

How do I know that transaction is over?

Do you know how many buyers who have left a negative to whom I replied they should contact me so I can make things right, how many of them actually did contact me?

Not a one.

That's how I know the buyer who left the negative is over and done with me.

And that is why my reply isn't for that buyer.

The reply I leave is for future buyers who may decide to look through my feedback!

If they see "honesty" they're likely to think I can be a difficult seller to work with, like if they have a problem with the product they may be looking forward to a fight and they will take their money and themselves elsewhere.

That's why I make it look like I'm kissing tail.

Besides, I don't really have a choice in the matter anyway.

The case / return is going to work out the way it does regardless of pen and mouth and tongue.

Just saying, a reply to a negative is an opportunity to look GOOD in front of future buyers.
