I'm using a Nikon D3100 camera with a 50mm lens to take my eBay photos with...what are you using?
I find camera fascinating and would like to hear what you use! 🙂

No you don't. That camera is ancient.

Clamshell Kitty looks like he/she could be related to my Jingles; the senior citizen tuxedo girl in my previous post, the one worshiping the Magic Heat Box(tm)

My cat Bob doesn't like to have his picture taken, but he likes to rub cat spit on outgoing boxes I suppose its some secret cat message he is sending to Chiarman Meow.....

How did you get my cat?!?! lol I thought the same when I saw your girl.
Z is about 11 now. She's fine furred and easily chilled - has always been. The newish clamshell bed is like a sauna and she loves it.

You might need a tinfoil hat.

Yes I do, The Mavica was the bomb in the mid 90's
And it is just as good today, it was way ahead of it's time.
Sure I could buy a 600 buck DSLR, but why...
Just because it is old, don't make it work any less.

Lol, I'd take silly photos of the cat here, but she is sleeping. I don't know if she'd look her best for the photo, you know

For the past 5 years, I've used a Panasonic Lumix FH-20 -- in fact I bought a second one as back-up. Great for everythging from macro product photography to scenics and night views.
For eBay, I scan most of the paper goods (postcard, ads, books) but sometimes an actual photo works better.
I edit all images in Picasa -- sharpen, contrast and color correction, cropping -- and resize as needed before exporting them for use on eBay. These examples have been uploaded here as "medium."
