What is the GD minimum for a hold on a payment now?? 2nd hold on a good sale in the last 2+ weeks! This 1 is under $200 (after fees). Really would like to know what the minimum price on a sale would be so I can decide if I will continue listing ANYTHING of decent value on eBay! Certainly not going to wait 2 weeks, or more, for my money every rotten time!

I don’t think there is a hard and fast limit. I sell 4 or 5 figure items every now and then but never had anything held.

I started selling on here is 2001 & never had a hold until a couple of weeks ago.

You have to have some patience my friend. In my real job I can make a sale and sometimes it can 6 to 9 months to get paid my commission. During that time the client can cancel at anytime and I get nothing.

Bills to pay in a week. They won't have patience. Need sales now & payments. Not petty delays by a multi-million dollar corporation.

I have bills just like you and everyone else.

This in regards to the trading card? Probably a case of high dollar item in a high scam potential category.
Only way around it is to maybe send the higher dollar cards to their vault. But they probably charge storage fees that don't make it worth using.
And no idea on minimum. Could be random. Could just be anything over $100 until you become trusted enough or something.

If you have money on hold there is a reason for it. If you didn't get an email from Ebay telling you what the issue is, did you have a claim opened? A minimum hold amount has nothing to do with sales under $200 before or after fees, so that isn't it at all.

It's frustrating, but try to look at it this way: if the item didn't sell then there would be no money to hold in the first place and you'd be in a worse off spot for paying your bills.
The hold can be for any number of reasons. They hold for infrequent sellers and you've complained about slow sales so your account status could have been changed to an infrequent (low volume) seller. They hold if a lot of claims are filed for late delivery and you've complained many times about that exact problem. They hold in certain categories with certain dollar amounts due to the amount of scams. Your account has probably hit a mix of flags that are causing the hold.
There's nothing that can be done to change it so either deal with it or decide if this is still the right venue. eBay is not a good source for "fast cash" and you've told us before how you rake in the $$ with your local booth sales. If money is that tight for paying your bills then do something local for the fast cash you're looking for.
To answer the direct question in your OP:
There is no published minimum (though many have reported holds are very common for $1k+ transactions) and the dollar amount by itself is probably not the cause for your hold.
Would you rather make the sale and wait a couple of weeks for payment or have the item sit unsold? Would you rather make the sale and wait a couple of weeks for payment or sell locally for fast cash. If selling locally for fast cash is an option then why is it listed here in the first place?
I doubt anybody will have a precise answer to your question due to the number of factors involved. You have enough info to make informed choices on where to sell those items. Good luck.

What is the GD minimum for a hold on a payment now??
Simply put ...
Any payment amount an eBay customer disputes.
1st sale or 3000th sale, doesn't matter.

If you spend all of your eBay funds, what happens when there is another INR? Seems to me that the eBay hold is a good idea for all involved.

It took me a while to figure out what GD was. 😉

This hold is for 3 weeks! Last one, which was 3x more valuable, was 10 days. Make any sense to you? I don't find it good at all! lol

If you know it is for 3 weeks, then Ebay must have sent you an email. In that email it would tell you why they are holding it. You may not agree with them, but there is a reason in that email. What did they tell you?
