Mine is about what.

Not understanding your answer . If you have a 100000 list do you sell about 10% or 10000 dollars

Last month, we shipped 571 orders. We currently have 4,774 listings (5,559 items, since some of those are quantity listings), so depending on how you do the math, that's a sell-through rate for the month of almost 12% or just over 10%.

Do you think 10-12% is the average on Ebay ??
06-12-2024 12:57 PM
It depends on the month and what I am selling. Why do you ask?

Depends greatly on the seller, how many listings they have, what they're selling, etc. I doubt that's a consistent average.

Hi, Here in N.J. we are small time hobby sellers & only try to float between 150 to 175 listings per month. Our goal is always to make 30 sales in 30 days. We have been hitting 20 to 30 sales per month lately but have hit 60 or more. So, it is really hard to say what our average actually is. (J.B.)

Yeah, I could see this not being a figure you could use as a performance metric.
Do you list very desirable things, but only a few listings at a time, that have a wide audience? You might sell 100% a month...

Is the score keeping system #of listings? Or # of items? Or $$ amount?
I might have 3400 listings but 70,000 items since some listings will have 10,20,50, or 100
items for sale My method of score keeping is $$ amount.
If I sell 5-6% of the $$ amount I have listed each month I'm happy. But that amount is very fluid
since some months I make 100-200 new listings and some months hardly any.
Yesterday I added almost $1,000.00 in listings to my accounts. No new listings, Just adding inventory
to existing listings.
Not very scientific, Is it.

The score keeping system is very simple. It's 10% or what.

Score keeping is in dollar amount about 3000 listing more if you count multiple listing 5000 . I'm thinking 1-1.5 % is very low

1-1.5% of anything is very low.

Most of the items I have listed are multiple quantities.
I have about 350 listings,
I sell about 100 items a month.

Apparently that's all irrelevant, as the score keeping has now been adjusted to "dollar amount." For example, about 3000 listing more if you count multiple listing 5000.
